We were appointed as lead Architectural Consultant & Contract Administrator by Prescot Town Council to deliver the conversion of the Fusilier Public House into the new Prescot Town Hall.
We won the project by providing the client with a complete multi-disciplinary package to include Quantity Surveyor, Structural Engineers, Mechanical & Electrical Consultants and all building surveys.
The design provides a large public multi-functional space to the ground floor with two key 'shop windows' to the street frontage where we have also relocated the main entrance. This along with the hidden roller shutter aluminium surrounds won Knowsley Planning Officer support.
On the first floor are the Offices and Council Chamber, where we inserted a full-height slit window to the public.
In compliance to the Approved Documents Part L the building envelope has been treated with an insulated render, new thermally broken aluminium windows and an 8kw photovoltaic panel system to the South facing roof.
