Jessica first joined Arkhi in 2018 for a placement during her second year studying Architecture BA (Hons) at Falmouth University and returned full time after graduating in 2019.
The projects she undertook for her Part 1 were all based in Cornwall and were a variety of residential and commercial, as well as a real build project in First Year. Her final project was a multi-generational housing complex for students and the elderly aiming to integrate physical exercise into the residents everyday lives, this was entered into the Architecture For Health Student Competition 2019 and won Highly Commended for the Open Award.
Jessica is now working towards her RIBA Part 1 accreditation whilst at Arkhi. Outside the office Jessica enjoys running and regularly participates in Half Marathons around the country, her most recent being the Snowdonia Half (one of the toughest in the UK), and finished first in her category. Jessica also loves water sports such as surfing and body boarding.
