Arkhi have been appointed to modernise and reclad an existing dwelling and propose an extension to house a new home office.

 

The design involves a reconfiguration of the ground floor level to enable large open plan contemporary family orientated spaces. A large kitchen provides the focal point and large sliding doors blurs the internal and external spaces.

 

In addition to the configuration and modernisation, recladding the external façade with timber and white render will modernise the dated appearance of the dwelling creating a sleek and contemporary aesthetic.
