Sensitive barn extension & refurbishment

A beautiful high specification, traditional extension in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. This extension provides additional living spaces to the sensitively refurbished barn conversion. As well as providing a formal entrance to the dwelling, the extension allows the occupants to relax in solitude with views across the green countryside from large custom formed timber windows.
From the beginning of the project journey, it was apparent that externally the material palette should be in keeping with the existing barn conversion. However, the internal space was free from these restrictions and a contemporary space with modern features was envisioned by the clients.
