Leone Bar + Restaurant

Arkhi worked for Pear Hospitality to renovate and update the Grade II Listed building The Lion and Swan Hotel in Congleton, Cheshire.

The scheme involved developing three venues within the existing building in order to make three distinctive character settings.

​

The stables at the rear of the existing building have been replaced with a new extension and an adjoining outdoor terrace. The extension contains a new distinct entrance into the bar and restaurant.

​

Private dining spaces and meeting rooms are available for birthday parties, corporate gatherings, or special occasions. The extension has a fully glazed main façade with large rooflights to create a bright open space. The main entrance is clad in a light timber to create a distinctive focal point in contrast to the original building and the dark timber of the rest of the extension.

The development will bring a new and much anticipated focal destination to the town of Congleton.
