The proposals were for a single storey contemporary extension to the rear and side of a large, detached Victorian house in Prestwich, with notable historical interest.

The proposed scheme includes a large open-plan contemporary family living area, which is facilitated through the merging of the existing kitchen and orangery rooms, enhancing the internal arrangement, and creating an improved flow of space on the ground floor.

The clients now enjoy improved access to the garden area through the incorporation of large sliding glass doors, with an adjacent private guest annexe which has been created as part of the reconfiguration.
