Silk Cottage

This cottage is located within the small town of Bollington. To the rear of the property our design includes the addition of two extensions from the existing main cottage building.

 

The ground floor features an open plan extension to the kitchen and dining area - allowing for a modern living space.

 

The second extension creates an additional master bedroom to the cottage, fitted with floor to ceiling windows for maximum natural daylight.

 

The materials of the extensions have been carefully considered to respect the existing building and enhance the appearance of the dwelling. The extensions are cladded in brown brick to contrast against the white painted brick, making a clear division between old and new developments.
