Historic refurbishment and extension
Congleton, Cheshire East

Located within a small village near Congleton, this grade II listed building faces a £3 million renovation and extension. Constructed in Flemish-bond red brick with ashlar decorations, evidence suggests the building has been modified on a number of occasions including the 19th and the mid-20th centuries.

The proposed renovations will transform the historic building back to its original state, and will feature a new grand staircase, providing access to the first floor, as well as a curved corridor which will connect the two wings of the building together.

The new extension will create a sympathetic but contrasting contemporary addition to the historic architecture of the building. The extension will accommodate a 12m swimming pool and a dining room with unobstructed views.

Stage 5 – Manufacturing and Construction.
