Barn conversion and farmstead development

Arkhi were approached to develop a phased project that encapsulates a number of existing buildings with conversion and development potential.
Phase one comprises of a feasibility study to convert one of the most prominent buildings on the site into a domestic dwelling.
The most prominent building is two storeys high and is flanked by two single-storey wings on either side. This main building will be the heart of the home, incorporating a double-height and open plan living space with a mezzanine.
One of the single-storey wings accommodates bedrooms, whilst the other wing provides further living spaces; these being more intimate and private than the main living space.
