Wilmslow is a small town and civil parish in Cheshire, England. Wilmslow is one of the most sought-after places to live in the UK, outside of central London. Wilmslow forms part of the Cheshire Golden Triangle along with Alderley Edge and Prestbury, with other affluent areas and towns falling within this catchment area, such as Mottram St Andrew.
Arkhi Architects have been involved with a number of bespoke projects in and around Wilmslow and the Cheshire Golden Triangle.
The town grew in popularity in the Victorian era as a desirable area for wealthy North West merchants. Serving as a reminder to the Victoria era, Wilmslow is home to Quarry Bank Mill, which is one of the best-preserved textile mills of the Industrial revolution. The mill is now used as a museum, owned by the National Trust.
Wilmslow has a vibrant high-street, with a tremendous range of shops providing high-quality designerwear and high street labels, and if that's not enough, there's no shortage of places to eat and drink with a wide choice of stylish restaurants, cafes and pubs.
We also undertake projects in other areas, in and around Cheshire and the North West.
